Born in West Texas, Tim migrated to Bucks County in 1985. He joined Crossing and met his future wife, Bette Jo, that same year. He has fifteen years experience in the print advertising and advertising agency field, and also served for eight years with World Team, a church planting mission agency. Before accepting the position as Senior Pastor in 2006, Tim served as an Elder at Crossing for seven years.

Tim did undergraduate work at Texas Tech University and received a Masters in Cross Cultural Communications from Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Bette Jo, live in Newtown and have two sons, Grant and Owen, and one beautiful granddaughter. He’s a proud fan of the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Dallas Cowboys. Tim’s desire is to see Crossing be a church where everyone considers him- or herself as being “sent” to the people in their everyday lives.

Steve and Heather, and their three kids, moved here from Austin, Texas, in the fall of 2014. Steve studied Religious Education at Dallas Baptist University, and continued on to earn a Masters in Church History.

Before coming to Crossing, Steve served at churches in Austin and Dallas, in discipleship and small group ministry. His desire is to see the church–and families–equipped and encouraged to be disciples and make disciples. His free time is split between drinking coffee while reading or writing, and watching the Stars, Mavs, or Cowboys.

He sporadically contributes articles to Faithwire.

ELDERS

Based on the New Testament model of church leadership, Crossing is led and governed by a Council of Elders that oversees the general direction, spiritual welfare, and fiscal responsibilities of the church. These men are carefully selected according to the apostle Paul’s instruction in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, and approved by the congregation’s vote. (Acts 14:21-23, 20:17-18, 1 Tim. 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, Heb. 13:7, 17)
