2026 Staff Transitions Q&A, Sunday, January 25, 4 PM

Recently, Pastor Steve announced a proposal for changes to our Pastoral staff structure. The Elder Council will be hosting a Q&A on Saturday, January 25 at 4:00 PM in East Wing Hall for anyone with questions or feedback related to the proposed staff hires. All are welcome to attend.

Please note: this meeting is not meant to serve as a Q&A relative to Colin Earle serving our church as a Ministry Director. Another meeting will be announced for that purpose in February.

Women’s Bible Study on Luke, Fridays, 9-10AM

The Friday morning Women’s Bible Study will consider the first half of the book of Luke (chapters 1 -13) from January 30 to May 15. We will study Jesus’ birth, early life, and ministry to the broken on Friday mornings from 9 to 10 AM via Zoom. Other than the Bible, no books are needed, and all women are invited to attend as their schedule permits – feel free to come when you can! Questions should be directed to Cindy Smith.

Wednesday Nights at Crossing, Feb 4, 6:30-8pm

There’s something for everyone on Wednesday nights at Crossing; come grow with us! Family worship for parents and kids, as well as youth group, begin at 6:30 pm. Adult and kids classes begin at 7pm. Everyone is dismissed at 8pm.

This winter, Erik Hagman will be leading a course:

Strategic and Personal Evangelism: A Study of the Weapons of Spiritual War and the Principles, Strategy, and Tactics to Use Them Most Effectively in Evangelism (8 weeks): Not all warfare is waged on a battlefield: every Christian is called to be a soldier. Our fight is against Satan, our objective is the acknowledgement and fulfillment of God’s commands, and our ammunition is the power of the Holy Spirit. Join us to examine the weapons God gives us and how we can employ them in daily spiritual battles and evangelism.

Help Needed! You can serve every person who shows up for worship

It may be the most overlooked way to serve people at church. Yet it also benefits every single person who shows up to worship on a Sunday! We need your help if you are:

  • available at 9am one Sunday per month
  • detail-oriented
  • in moderate physical shape (for lifting and stacking/unstacking chairs)

If you are interested in serving or would like more information, please contact Tim Smith.

momQ registration is open, spring semester begins Feb 3

Ladies, join us for momQ — a faith-based mentoring program where moms will find connection, grow spiritually, and be discipled to live out their faith in every part of their lives. Through mentor-driven discipleship, you’ll be empowered to:

  • discover your identity and purpose in Christ
  • establish a Christ-centered home
  • equip your family for godly living

Who is momQ for? Moms with newborns all the way up to teens, are invited to attend!
When does momQ meet? Every Tuesday from 9:30-11:30am. To find out more or register now, click the link below!

You can make a difference for the people in Guatemala

This March, Bob Ciatto will be going to Guatemala for a week-long mission trip, with a team of 26 building houses, conducting medical clinics, and sharing Jesus with young children. You can get involved by donating much needed supplies to give away at the medical clinics!

We’re collecting toothpaste (large) and toothbrushes, Matchbox cars, deflated soccer balls, and baseball caps. Simply drop your donations in the bin marked “Guatemala,” downstairs across from the Library.
