Crossing Community Church’s Revolutionary War re-enactors, the First Crossing Volunteers, seek to honor those who fought and died for our liberty and preserve the 18th century values of faith, loyalty, and freedom that they held so dear. At the same time, we have a greater message of hope to share, a message of true freedom in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We participate in a number of events in and around Newtown yearly, either marching in parades or setting up colonial encampments depicting 18th century military camp life. We’re always taking in new recruits to help General Washington keep the area safe from Redcoats! We have plenty of uniforms and equipment to get anyone started, and everyone is welcome to participate in one or all of our events. Click here to view a list of upcoming events.
