SUNDAYS | 10AM
WELCOME TO CROSSING COMMUNITY CHURCH!
We’re glad you found us! Crossing is a nondenominational church serving lower Bucks and western Mercer counties. We want to make the name of Jesus known throughout Newtown, the surrounding communities, and the whole world by being and making committed followers of Christ. Thanks for checking us out; we hope to see you soon!
WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT?
We want anyone to attend Crossing and feel welcome as our guest. Our desire is to provide a safe place for people of all ages and backgrounds to investigate Christianity and join God’s mission at their own pace. Everyone is welcome!
WHAT IS A TYPICAL SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE LIKE?
The atmosphere is friendly and casual, and coffee will be ready when you get here. Our Sunday worship service starts at 10am and lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes, including a few songs, a short prayer time dedicated to church families or ministry partners, a couple of announcements, and a gospel-centered sermon.
HOW SHOULD YOU DRESS SUNDAY MORNING?
Dress comfortably. Most people are dressed casually, but you’ll see people in everything from shorts or jeans and athletic shoes, to sport coats and ties.
WHAT ABOUT YOUR KIDS?
Our commitment to parents and children is to teach the Bible in a safe environment, and provide age-appropriate activities and lessons that capitalize on every learning opportunity. All our Son Country volunteers are background-checked and have been involved at Crossing a minimum of six months. Before you drop off your kids, we’ll need a little information from you. We’ll use this information to get them checked in, make sure they’re safe, and contact you if we need you during the service. You can find out more about Son Country in our Children’s Ministry section.
WHERE SHOULD YOU GO WHEN YOU GET HERE?
Crossing is located just three minutes west of I-95 at the Newtown-Yardley exit (49). There are two entrances to our beautiful and historic campus from Lower Silver Lake Road. The first entrance (the one closer to the Bypass) brings you around the barn and into the parking lot in the middle of the campus. This lot has handicap parking and access to the handicap ramp into the Main Building, reserved visitor parking, and access to the Farmhouse (where the offices are located) and the Mill House (where our student ministry and Bible classes meet). The second entrance leads into a large main parking lot with reserved parking for new or expectant moms, and access to the Main Building and the East Wing (a gathering room for events or classes).
When you enter the Main Building, the Welcome Desk is immediately accessible if you have questions. The Auditorium is right at the top of the stairs. But before you head up, if you have children in 5th grade or younger, they can be checked in to Son Country at the end of the main hallway. Restrooms are easily located in the main hallway, and coffee is waiting upstairs!
